This is a pilot project to create, in a small section of the southern coast, a definitive mean high water coastline at a large scale (1:3000 if possible) that would be useful to the appropriate state and federal agencies. The method was to examine the available digital MHW lines ( i.e. National Hydrography Dataset, National Oceanographic & Atmospheric Administration) in conjunction with high-resolution orthophotos and LiDAR data collected by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
